Passengers Arriving on International Flights Must Now Complete Health Questionnaire
As of Tuesday, March 10, 2020, every passenger on international flights arriving in Ecuador must fill out a health form, in order to prevent the number of COVID-19 infected people from increasing.
Arriving passengers must enter data such as nationality, places where they have been the last 21 days and health status, among other details.
In Ecuador, there are currently 15 positive patients of COVID-19, three are hospitalized in centers designated by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) (two Ecuadorians and a foreign tourist); the rest have mild symptoms, and are in-home isolation under medical surveillance.
This measure adds to others implemented by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation of Ecuador at the airport, such as aircraft disinfection.
